So…you want to talk about a woman of excellence? Well, the torrents of hell have encompassed my soul, The enemy of my spirit has sought to slay me, The devil himself requested an audience with my mind And yet, the Mighty Arm of God held me, strong was His hold. You want to talk about a woman of excellence? Sin knocked at my door and demanded, “Let me in.” Thoughts of saying yes pulled on my integrity, my morality. The flesh fought hard and lingered in the breeze of contemplation And yet, deep within my inner man there arose a God sound, “Don’t sin.” The woman of excellence came through the fire, the water, the flood, The great trials of life, and even the lingering thought of – is living holy worth it? Excellence is not perfection as perfection is known to man, She holds up the standard of the Lord in the face of hell, HA! And who gets to laugh in the face of the past? You want to talk about a woman of excellence? Take a look around you and see the fine specimen of a woman, Not just any woman, but the one displaying excellence. Where? In her walk, her talk, her loving in the presence of hate; And never ever forgetting to praise and to worship The One who put her all together. She chooses to embrace all that God has ordained for her. She was chosen for just that reason. What reason is that? She knows how to embrace her purpose. She is now sent To help you to embrace yours. | I have had many trials in my life, many heartaches, many disappointments but I kept on holding to God's unchanging hand. Though life seemed hard and has dealt me bitter blows, still I kept pressing my way. Many times I have had to stand alone, but I was not alone because God was with me through it all. I have had to battle the enemy head on with no one to call on but God and He delivered me. Mankind will fail you including family and friends, but God will never fail you. God stood by me through thick and thin, He never let go of me. He kept me when I did not know that He was keeping me. Jesus saved me from myself and from the hand of the enemy. That is why I take a bold stand for Jesus and I will not turn back. I will preach the righteousness and holiness of Jesus until the day I depart from this life to be with my Lord because it was my Lord who helped me when no one else would; even though they could have helped they did not help, but God has always helped me and will always help me so God gets all the glory for everything He has done in my life.
